How does adoption work?
Browse the dogs, pick the one you connect with, and fill in the adoption application. We review every application and get in touch to talk about the dog and your home. Once everything is confirmed, we arrange the handover, or, for adopters abroad, the trip.
Can I adopt from Canada or the United States?
Yes. We assist with arranging safe transport and with the requirements of your country. Cross-border adoption depends on the dog’s health and veterinary approval, and each country has its own requirements, so timelines vary from dog to dog.
Many of our dogs travel with flight angels: travellers who escort a dog on their commercial flight. We cover the dog’s travel expenses.
What condition are the dogs in?
Many of our dogs arrived injured, sick or elderly. By the time they are listed for adoption they have been treated, sterilized and vaccinated, and their foster family can tell you exactly how they are doing day to day.
