About Us.

We generally prioritize dogs in the most urgent need: injured, sick, elderly, or otherwise struggling to survive. Once a dog is in our care, we first take them to a local veterinarian for tests and any subsequent medical treatments they may need. Then, we spay/neuter and vaccinate them. From there, we work to find them a loving foster home where they stay until they get adopted. We do not have a physical shelter — all of our dogs that are up for adoption are either in foster homes or in boarding facilities.

In instances where a person or family wants to adopt a dog from another country, we assist in arranging for safe transport of the dog and fulfilling the requirements of that specific country. As each country has its own requirements, and as each dog is different, the option of cross-border adoption is subject to the dog’s health and veterinary approval.

To help the dogs who remain on the street, we participate in community events such as spay-neuter clinics, community vaccination programs, and educational programs to raise awareness.

We rely entirely on donations, which means the number of dogs we’re able to help depends directly on the support that we receive. Please note: we’ve applied for charitable status with the CRA and are currently awaiting approval. Until then, we’re unable to issue tax receipts for donations, including any made before approval is granted.
